as a necessary evil, so repairs get put off and
consequently problems become more expensive. For
example peeling paintwork on windows can eventually

As independent Chartered Building Surveyors we are
generally more experienced and skilled in diagnosing
building defects than property professionals in
other divisions.
We will investigate your building defects and recommend
the most cost effective and practical solution to
remedying your problem. Often the problems we encounter
have arisen due to either material deterioration,
poor workmanship or design.
We have in the past reported upon water ingress
problems, structural defects, rising dampness and
condensation problems, faulty double glazed window
and door installations and poor workmanship following
completion of extension or refurbishment works.
